Friends, Food, and Fun
Wednesdays, 5:45-6:30pm
All middle school students are invited for pizza, games, and time to connect with other
youth before confirmation. A free-will donation helps cover the cost of dinner.
Looking for an easy way to volunteer in youth ministries? Help with serving pizza during Friends, Food, and Fun on Wednesday nights from 5:20-6:30 PM. It’s a great way to be present with our youth AND very easy to help with the set up, serving, and clean up. Any age can help (with adult supervision if younger than 14). Sign up here.
Camp Wapo
Registration Opens January 15
Can you believe it? It’s time to start thinking about Summer! Registration for Camp Wapo is open! The theme for this year is “Wonder,” based on Matthew 19:26 — “With God all things are possible.”
July 26th-July 31st, 2025 Youth Camp: campers in 4th-8th grade experience a week filled with all of the fun of camp from bible study to all camp games, from worship to beach bash, from free time to cabin devotions, and so much more!
There are also opportunities for Family Camp at Wapo and for High Schoolers. For children in K-2nd grade who just want to check things out for a day, there's the Wapo One Day. We could go on July 29th and be there when our older students are there. Learn more at lakewapo.org
Puppet Ministry
Students 5th Grade and Older
Guided Hands Puppet Team is a ministry of Resurrection in which 5th-12th graders learn the craft of puppeteering and then perform faith-based stories and songs for our Sunday School students and occasionally the surrounding community. Has your student expressed interest in being a part of our Guided Hands Puppet Team? Students going into grade 5 or older are invited to participate.
Puppet Team rehearsals-- Rehearsals are Thursdays 6-7:30pm.
Performance Sundays-- (8:30am-12pm) January 25th, April 12th
Cost: optional $20 for a t-shirt
